Will you cover trackdays?
We have one insurer on our panel who will provide cover for up to three trackdays per policy, per year, provided all drivers have recent experience of participating in similar events. Terms will apply, and an additional premium and excess will be charged (please call for details). Racing and competitive driving are excluded. Please ask for more details if this is of interest to you.

Do you offer a new car replacement?
Yes. If the vehicle is less than 12 months old at the time of the incident, and is damaged beyond economical repair or stolen and not recovered, a new car replacement will be offered subject to availability. This applies only if you are the first registered owner/keeper of the vehicle, and only if the vehicle is not classed as a grey import.

I have driven high-performance vehicles for many years. Will this make a difference to the quotation that you offer?
Yes. In fact, for many performance cars, most insurers will only offer cover if all named drivers have recent experience of driving cars of similar performance on a regular basis. To ensure that you receive the best possible quote from us, please do specify the previous high performance cars that you have owned, when speaking to your broker.

Do you cover imports?
Yes we do have insurers that will cover parallel imports from within the EU these are acceptable at normal terms. Japanese grey imports are also acceptable under the scheme, although certain conditions do apply, for example a new car replacement will not be offered if the vehicle is written off, and a courtesy car also may not be made available if your car needs to be repaired.

Are left-hand drive vehicles acceptable?
Yes, although a loading may be applied to your quoted premium unless you have experience of driving left-hand drive vehicles on a regular basis within the UK.

Do you cover modified cars?
Yes. Many modifications are acceptable to us. However these must be professionally fitted and the exact nature and value of the modifications and any subsequent performance enhancement must be notified to us. Please call for details.

Can I have a courtesy car in the event of a claim?
Yes, the Insurers we use have a nationwide network of approved repairers, and provide a three year warranty on all work undertaken by the network on our behalf. If you decide to use this network, and provided your vehicle is not a grey import, a courtesy vehicle will be provided for a maximum of 14 days during the repair of the car. If your vehicle is damaged beyond economical repair, or is stolen and not recovered, no courtesy car will be made available.

Can my vehicle be taken to my choice of repairer in the event of a claim?
Yes. If you do not wish to use our nationwide approved repairer network, the vehicle may be taken to a repairer of your choice subject to agreement by our engineers. However, in these circumstances we will be unable to offer any guarantee of the quality of work completed, and may not be able to offer a courtesy vehicle.

Do you offer Protected No Claims Bonus?
Yes. Providing you have at least four years No Claims Bonus, and have had no more than one claim in total in the last three years, Protected No Claims Bonus is available at an additional premium.

I am using my No Claims Bonus on another vehicle. Am I eligible for any discount for my second vehicle?
Yes. Provided all drivers are claim-free, and the driving of your second car is restricted to yourself only, or yourself and your spouse/Civil Partner, some insurers on our panel will mirror your No Claims Bonus from your first vehicle, where others will offer introductory discounts. In addition, subject to eligibility and an additional premium, this 2nd car discount may also be Protected (as above).

I have driven a company car for a number of years. Am I eligible for any discount?
Yes. Provided the company car was allocated to you for both social as well as business use, and you no longer have access to that vehicle, you may be entitled to a No Claims discount equal to the number of years that you have been driving your company vehicle without claim. However, you will need a letter from your employer or from their broker/insurer confirming your company car history.

My vehicle is registered to my company. Is this acceptable?
Yes. Although we cannot issue a policy in the company name, we can offer a policy in your name, noting the fact that the vehicle is owned and registered to your company/employer. However, in the event of a claim resulting in your vehicle being declared to be beyond economical repair, any payment will be made to the registered owner of the vehicle.

Do you offer cover for drivers with non-UK licences?
Yes. Any full driving licence issued by an EU country is acceptable to us. Regrettably, we are unable to offer cover to any driver with a licence issued by a country outside of the EU.

I suffer from a recognised medical condition/disability. Will you offer any cover?
Yes. Provided the DVLA have been made aware of your condition, and have not revoked your driving licence, we will be happy to offer cover subject to our normal terms.

Do you offer cover for me to use my car outside the UK?
Yes. Subject to you advising us prior to travel, we will extend your policy to offer full cover within the EU or European Economic Area (EEA). This will be free of charge for a maximum of 30 days per policy. If you will exceed this period, or wish to take your vehicle to a country outside the EU or EEA, please contact us and we will consider your request. However, a charge may apply in the event that we are able to offer cover in these circumstances.

What is the maximum vehicle value you will cover?
The maximum vehicle value, if you require Comprehensive cover, is £120,000. For Third Party, Fire and Theft cover, the maximum vehicle value is £10,000. If your vehicle is a Japanese grey import, the maximum value is £35,000 for Comprehensive cover and £5000 for Third Party, Fire and Theft. We do not offer cover on a Third Party Only basis.

Do you offer discounts for garaging, low mileage or the fitment of additional security?
Yes. Significant discounts are available if you are prepared to garage your vehicle every night that it is at your home address, or are prepared to restrict your mileage. Additionally, we offer premium discounts for the fitment of alarms/immobilisers and tracking devices, provided they are Thatcham approved (see www.thatcham.org for details) and are professionally fitted.
